Oconto County tourism had a record year in 2023, contributing $140 million to the local economy, according to new data from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism.
The total tourism economic impact — a figure based on visitor spending, employment income and tax impacts — rose 4.4%, from $134 million in 2022.
